Cvent Integration

Overview:

ISG’s iMIS to Cvent integration module allows associations to have their members register in their iMIS RiSE site and after the purchase the registration is written to Cvent along with an Activity.

The setup process needs to have an event setup in iMIS and an event setup in Cvent.   Business rules for registrants and event eligibility rules are setup in IQAs. 

Business Problem this integration solves:

Benefits are allow users to register in the iMIS RiSE member site keeping all of your financial transactions and registration information in iMIS while providing the user with all the capabilities Cvent has to offer.

User Workflow:

  1. User purchases a product on the RiSE site
  2. Schedule job runs every 10-15 mins
    1. writes purchased products to Cvent based on a Product Eligibility IQA.
    2. creates Activity record in iMIS
  3. Add Cvent link on iMIS RiSE purchase confirmation page
  4. On the day of the event when user goes to the Cvent site, they enter their email and Cvent sends a code for them to enter the site

Requirements:

  • iMIS 2017
  • iMIS EMS Cloud
  • ISG needs access to RiSE Staff site for implementation
  • 1 iMIS Full User License
